News Update: Thanksgiving and Mission Europe - November 2014

Dear Friends

We wish you a blessed Thanksgiving.

“Thanksgiving” is the language of faith.

If I know that God will deliver me, or has delivered me even though I may not see the manifestation, I can thank Him in faith. The apostle Paul understood this when he said in II Corinthians 2 : 14, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ.

Thanksgiving is good, but “thanks-living” is better.

I Thessalonians 5 : 18 - In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

We are the objects of God’s grace. Let Him be the object of our gratitude.

God’s giving deserves our thanksgiving. We don’t thank God for the problem, but we can thank God in the midst of the problem for His grace.

Thanking God in adversity changes burdens into blessings. I don’t mean that sickness or lack can be changed into a blessing, but I mean in the midst of sickness and lack, and in times of crisis, we can draw closer to God and cast our cares upon Him and let Him carry our burdens while we enjoy the blessing of having Him as our God.

Thanking God for our blessings extends them. Failing to thank Him will soon end them.

Psalm 100 : 4 - Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name.

Psalm 77 : 11 - I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Your wonders of old.

Do you have something to remember that the Lord has done?

The answer is always a resounding, “YES!” It is important to reflect on all that you have instead of wishing for what you don’t have.

Some count their blessings on their fingers, and their miseries on an adding machine.  If we think about it long enough, our blessings far outweigh our miseries. Think about it and thank God for it.

- Excerpt from my book ‘Keys to Receiving Your Miracles’

We are so thankful for what the Lord did, the last 5 weeks as we ministered in Europe in the nations of England, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Wales and Germany.

We started our European ministry tour in Oxford, England.  Oxford is the Home of Oxford University, one of the leading universities in the world with the biggest library that has more than 4 million books.

In Oxford, we ministered at a prayer and healing conference at Christian Life Centre - a dynamic church with amazing pastors and wonderful people.  People from many different countries attended the meetings.  There was a great atmosphere and a great hunger for God.  For 3 days I taught on different topics and prayer, healing and breakthrough.  On Saturday morning I spoke at a special meeting for pastors and leaders.  The Lord really moved during that weekend and there were testimonies of healings and many were refreshed and touched.

Testimony that we received from Oxford, England:

First of all I really will like to thank our senior Pastor for this life changing conference. I remember when we had a prayer meeting prior to the conference Pastor Grady mentioned you have to be fed up with some things in your life to receive a breakthrough, and this is exactly what happened to me. I said to myself I am seriously fed-up of not being able to breathe through my nose most of the time and secondly not able smell my own cooking or perfume. So my prayer was for a healing. Just a bit of background of my condition, I suffer from chronic rhinitis, hence recurrent sinusitis for the past 4 years. Is like having a flu symptoms every day for the past 4 years. I have to breathe through my mouth majority of the time. I have been to see specialist at John Radcliffe hospital they gave me some tablets and did an allergy test, I tested positive to few allergies like dust mite pollens and they told me there is nothing more they can do for me. So for all these years I have to take nasal sprays and tablets to help me at least breath through my nose easily.  On the weekend of the prayer and healing conference I came with expectation, because am just fed up. Dr. Guy Peh mentioned we always hear what God has done somewhere else but why can it not be here in CLC, and why can it not be you. I went forward and they laid hands on me, not sure what happened I ended up on the floor, as sat back on my seat I suddenly felt some lightness as I breathed through my nose which I have not felt for 4 years, the man of God said again breathe it in and out, and did and I suddenly felt I could smell easily. I said to the lady next to me I feel something different and she said you are healed. I could not wait to jump to the front to tell everyone what the Lord has done for me. Since then I feel so well in myself, I stopped waking up in the night with breathlessness and reaching for my spray. I give thanks to God and give him the glory. FOR ME THIS IS A MIRACLE and I so much thank the man of God and his wife for laying hands on me, I pray the Lord will continue to strengthen, protect and bless them in all they do for God's glory.  God bless.  Beatrice

In England we also did a series of meetings in London.  We ministered at a gathering of senior pastors with the Evangelical Alliance of London.  Which is an organization that works with over 100 churches in London.  The pastors meeting was dynamic.  There was an amazing move of the Holy Spirit and a great prophetic unction.  It was a blessing to see many senior pastors respond to the altar call and many of them were ministered to prophetically by the Lord through us.  Many were sobbing and crying.  It was also a great blessing to see so many pastors from different churches come together.

In London we also preached at a Brazilian church and at a Breakthrough Youth Conference.  Ilke also spoke at a ladies event.  Thank God for Freddy and Michele who helped drive us around during our visit.

From London we traveled to Wales where we ministered at Newport City Church, it was amazing to see what the Lord did in their ministry the last 2 years.  How the church has grown.  There was a great demonstration of God’s power.  Many testified about receiving their healing.

We were so blessed to be able to visit Mariah Chapel and hear the account of The Wales Revival with Evan Roberts.  We were greatly inspired about the power of prayer that triggered and started the revival.

We were also in Paris, France where we spent 3 days recording television programs that will be broadcast in India, Europe, The Middle East, Africa and Asia.  We thank God for this opportunity.

We were also blessed on this ministry trip to spend some time in Belgium.  We organized a senior pastors dinner, where pastors and their wives could come to spend some time of fellowship.  Unity is not uniformity.  It was great to spend time with pastors and see them fellowship with each other.

One of the highlights of our trip was the amazing ‘Flourish Ladies Conference’ that Ilke organized.  Ladies from so many churches in different cities in Belgium and even from The Netherlands came.  The concept of the conference was wonderful.  There were different activities that the ladies could do during the break between sessions such as painting, flower arrangements and nail painting. There was such a great presence of the Holy Spirit during the meetings.  The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive!

During this trip we also ministered in the Netherlands with our good friends, Pastors Gerard and Lydia.  We did a seminar on faith for all the leaders and pastors and on Sunday I preached on faith.  Many deaf people were healed by the power of God. It was wonderful to be translated by Ilke.

We finished our tour in Germany where we ministered in 2 cities: Kassel and Mulheim an Der Ruhr.  There was a great demonstration of power in these cities as Jesus showed himself powerfully with many signs, wonders and miracles.

In Kassel there was an amazing miracle that took place.  One German man that had never gone to church before just came to check out what was happening.  I asked to pray for people with deaf ears.  He raised his hand.  I prayed for him and his deaf ear opened instantly.  I asked him: ‘Who healed you?’ He could not answer the question correctly because he we was so surprised and blown away.  He said that he did not believe in Jesus and how could this now happen like this.  ‘Miracles are the dinner bell of the Gospel.’  We were so happy and encouraged in our faith!  Germany for Jesus!  Jesus for Germany!

We had a fabulous time at the International Believers Convention in Mulheim an der Ruhr.  It was a great time of refreshing for many believers that came from different countries in Europe and Africa.  We love Pastors Edmund and Theresa.  They are doing an amazing work in Germany.

Our 5 weeks were very fruitful and super packed.  We are very happy to be home for a few days.

We want to thank our financial partners and prayer partners for all their support.  Together we can do more.
